Tynt Meadow - 33 CL

Trappist beers are usually named after the place where the monastery is located. We have named ours 'Tynt Meadow', to honor its link with the land on which monastic life was re-established here in the Midlands almost two centuries ago. As part of the great Trappist tradition, the brewers have chosen to produce a strong dark beer, but one with a distinctly English character. Tynt Meadow is mahogany colored, with a subtle, warm red hue and a persistent beige head. The aroma contains hints of dark chocolate, licorice and rich fruit flavors. The beer is full of flavor and gently balances the taste of dark chocolate, pepper and fig. It leaves a warm and dry aftertaste in the mouth.
