At Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck, the brewers mature our Kasteel Tripel in recycled cognac barrels. This beer style is called 'Barrel Aged', maturing beer in recycled barrels. Our brewer fills previously used cognac barrels with Kasteel Tripel, so that the beer retains the taste of cognac without losing its own identity. The Trignac is a full-bodied tasting beer and appeals to everyone who loves beer and cognac!
