Einblicke Kellerkongruenz: Moscatel 2022 – 75 CL

Our Congruity series uses the art of blending and collaboration to create a beer that transcends its individual elements. In May 2022, the brewers invited our esteemed friends from Bofkont and Tommie Sjef to join us in Copenhagen, along with base beer from what they considered their best barrels, and the brewers contributed a special blend of our one- and two-year-old Danish Wild beer. A methodical mixing and tasting session followed, with the brewers ultimately finding a blend that cohesively brings out the best of each of our beers. This part of the blend was aged for 16 months in Moscatel de Setúbal barrels from Portugal before bottling, infusing the beer with notes of honey, caramel and citrus.
