Duchesse De Bourgogne - 75 CL

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red beer. This refreshing beer is matured in oak barrels; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit and chocolate, and a long, dry and sour finish. After the first and second fermentation, the beer matures for 18 months in oak barrels. The end product is a mix of younger, 8-month-old beer with 18-month-old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before it is bottled is 12 months.
