Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with violets, blackcurrants and Tahitian vanilla • 14.55% ABV • Currant War is a boutique collaboration with Homage Brewing, inspired by the delicate flavors of French macarons. Floral aromas of Tahitian vanilla awaken the senses before the sharp brightness of blackcurrants, quickly tempered by the savory roundness of vanilla beans in the mid-palate. Currant War was brewed with violet flowers brought to a boil for a lingering finish of soft earth and early summer sweetness. Medium-bodied and elegant with a present but pleasant warmth thanks to an alcohol content of 14.55%.
