Bottle Logic Arborescence Hazelnut Berry Stout 2020 - 50 CL

Arborescence is a small-batch release that celebrates the spirit of craft distilling. We built a bold solid base for aging in 15-gallon bourbon barrels from R6 Distilling of Los Angeles and FEW Spirits of Evanston, Illinois. Where our typical 53-gallon bourbon barrels add hints of oak, vanilla, caramel and just a dash of bourbon spirit to a finished beer, the greater contact area of ​​liquid with wood in this hodgepodge of small barrels enhances these rich flavors and provides a barrel-like forward end product with an alcohol content of 15.21%. We have elegantly used carefully selected additives to complement this rare barrel character. Summer blackberries weave an earthy, subtle sweetness through the liquid. A hazelnut finishing filter adds a soft, nutty depth. A faint layer of allspice finishes the piece with an almost imperceptible nuance. This is the bourbon drinker's answer to pastry stouts.
