bottling date: 23/06/21 This iteration of Zenne y Frontera is a Josefa Pérez Oloroso Blend. In January 2020, the brewers went to the sherry region in the south of Spain to purchase our own sherry casks for future Zenne y Frontera projects. And so the brewers found Josefa Pérez Rosado's bodega. In a small barrel room, just behind the Iglesia de Santiago, right in the heart of the village of Jerez de la Frontera, the brewers had the honor of meeting and speaking to the Pérez family. There were only a fifth of the barrels left because the bodega had ceased operations. The brewers tasted the best of the remaining barrels and selected them for our barrel room. For this Zenne y Frontera, the brewers blended lambics from five Oloroso barrels and bottled them neat. The average age of this blend was 26 months at bottling. NL Zenne y Frontera is an assembly of traditional lambics that is further matured in old authentic sherry barrels. FR Zenne and Frontera are a blend of traditional lambic that contains much of the authentic sherry. NL Zenne y Frontera is a blend of traditional lambic that matured in old authentic sherry barrels.
