The lambics in this Golden Blend come from 3 different barrels and 4 different brews. The oldest lambic was brewed on February 1, 2015 and was therefore almost 4.5 years old at the time of bottling. The weighted average age will be approximately 32 months when the bottle comes out. NL 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Golden Blend is an assembly of one-, two-, three- and four-year-old traditional lambics, further fermented in the bottle and of which the proportion of four-year-old lambic(s) constitutes at least 25%. Thanks to the old lambic and the continuous evolution in the bottle, a distinctly complex and elegant natural beer is created. Lambic and Geuze are a rich and living heritage, specific to the Zenne Valley!
